graphic designer, artist, and mother of two. She was born in 1972 in Caracas, Venezuela. At a very young age, she developed a passion for fine arts, which led her to study painting. She became a student of graphic design at the Escuela de Diseño y Comunicación Visual Prodiseño, where she also learned analytical drawing. She has worked for multiple design studios in Venezuela and Argentina. Currently, she resides in Houston, Texas, and dedicates her time to her family and rediscovering her love for art.
Every day she deepens her spirituality—allowing her to discover new inspirations, disconnect herself from physical reality, and experiment with different techniques and mediums. She admires nature, color, and the everyday… She enjoys every part of the process, from the pencil's light stroke to the paintbrush's bold stroke. She finds art to be a lifelong process of learning and evolution, requiring constant study and investigation, creativity that she nourishes in a journey of transformation.
Today, she dedicates herself to religious art, working mostly in the mediums of acrylic and watercolor.
Mora has participated in an array of exhibitions in Mexico, Spain, New York, and Texas and is a member of the International Watercolor Society of Venezuela.
My artistic expression navigates between urban landscapes and spiritual realms. In urban settings, I depict everyday places, landscapes, and scenarios, exploring how each individual contributes to the aesthetic reflection of life. On the spiritual plane, I seek to imbue my faith with vivid colors and tangible forms, delving into diverse perspectives and personal testimonies that arise from within.
I have always been obsessed with order and perfection; nevertheless, my work with acrylic and watercolor have allowed me to explore with freedom and flexibility by creative expression.
My recent art focuses on my personal spiritual journey. My objective is to reflect my faith and love for the Lord, connecting with people through the celestial. I aspire to evoke emotion, peace and hope through my religious art. I am passionate about cultivating the spirituality and grace found in celestial religiosity. My artistic philosophy can be summed up as 'EAT PRAY PAINT', encapsulating the essence of my day-to-day creative journey.
For me, color and brushstrokes are a show of gratitude to God for the beautiful journey He has led me on. My works are acts of love and service, a calling from the sky that I answer with faith.
